Luke graduated from the University of South Australia in 2000 and cut his teeth as a physio working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He then moved to the UK and spent 2 years working in private practice before returning to complete a Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at Uni SA. After refining his private practice skills in clinics across Adelaide, Luke was a founding partner of The Physio Studio in it’s current form and has spent the last 8 years working to develop the clinic to what it has become. Luke combines his clinic time with sports physio work and has also been a clinical supervisor for Masters Physio students.
He has a special interest in managing dysfunction of the Thoracic spine, complex Lower back/pelvis conditions and high level sports injury rehabilitation. He also has advanced knowledge in cycling injuries and bike fitting along with running analysis and running injury rehab.
Luke is currently the head physiotherapist at Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football club, also works with the Goodwood Saints FC and has previous appointments as head physiotherapist at West Adelaide Football Club (SANFL) and Matrics Netball Club (State League).
Luke is a keen runner and long time supporter of the St Kilda Football club. He’s a super-active dad who loves spending time with his family and is a junior club coach at the mighty Goodwood Saints Footy Club.
