Remedial Massage Forestville
Massage therapy is available at The Physio Studio for Goodwood, Plympton and Forestville residents.
Types of Massage offered at The Physio Studio
Remedial Massage
Remedial massage utilises diverse techniques to pinpoint and ease tension and strain in muscles, tendons, and joints, facilitating and expediting the body’s natural recovery processes.
Among the advantages of remedial massage are improved circulation and blood supply to help eliminate muscle waste, the soothing of the peripheral nervous system to lessen pain, and muscle toning and relaxation to enhance joint flexibility. This massage also aids in cell health, tissue repair, and lessening muscle stiffness and tension.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is effective in the prevention, treatment, and recovery from sports-related injuries. It focuses on the muscles heavily involved in your sport, improving blood flow, increasing flexibility and movement range, and easing muscle soreness from vigorous or repeated activities. After a sporting event, sports massage is also useful to detoxify the muscles and minimise the time needed for recovery.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage employs strong, slow strokes to delve into the deeper muscle and connective tissue layers. The pressure in this massage is greater than in a relaxation massage, helping to resolve trigger points and muscle tension, while also promoting circulation.
